Since the beginning of August 2017, the new framework regulation on energy labeling replaces Directive 2010/30 / EU. This means that new regulations for the energy label apply to suppliers and distributors.
It must be assumed that there could be a re-scaling of energy efficiency classes for water heaters and storage by August 2nd, 2026, so that all current A classes would be considered C classes.
If a review of the EU Commission, which is carried out until August 2nd, 2025, show that for the time being no rescaling is necessary, the change will still take place in any case until August 2nd, 2030.
Since January 1st, 2019, the EU registration database EPREL is also mandatory.
